Trio Jérôme Beaulieu : Crabbuckit

Trio Jérôme Beaulieu performs rapper k-os’ classic, “Crabbukit” in BRBR’s black box.

The Trio Jérôme Beaulieu’s musicians ably juggle the strong Quebecois and international rock currents and American jazz. With Jérôme Beaulieu on the piano, Philippe Leduc on bass and William Côté on drums, the trio produces a modern jazz that is accessible, rhythmic and sensitive all at once: jazz for everyone. On listening, it becomes obvious the trio is in perfect symbiosis, a truly beautiful thing to behold. They produce spectacular audio effects with percussions and prepared instruments. In 2011, Trio Jérôme Beaulieu won the Jazz en rafale contest and earned the Grand Prize at the Festi-Jazz de Rimouski. In 2012, their first album, “L’homme sur la lune”, was nominated for the Opus awards of that same year. For sure, Trio Jérôme Beaulieu is a star in new Canadian music! If you don’t know them yet, press play right away!
