Moriarty : Ramblin' Man

The Moriarty band performs “Ramblin’ Man”, a hit by Hank Williams made famous by The Allman Brothers Band in 1973. This song is an excerpt from their “Fugitives” album.

Moriarty is a French-Swiss-American-Vietnamese band that sings American folk rock in English! “Fugitives”, the album on which “Ramblin’ Man” features, is in fact a homage to Bob Dylan. Yet, the songs aren’t covers from the famous American singer, but covers of songs that influenced him! The eclectic jazz-beat-folk music is broken up by rock funky moments with Cajun blues undertones.
Moriarty is a group of six artists : Rosemary Standley, Thomas Puéchavy, Arthur B. Gillette, Stephan Zimmerli, Charles Carmignac, Éric Tafani, and they all draw their inspiration in traditional Irish music, country and blues. Moriarty is on tour in Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia. They filmed their “Ramblin’ Man” session with BRBR during a visit in Ontario.
