The Ebola virus started in Guinea, then ended up in many countries of Western Africa, killing 8,600 people out of over 22,000 infected.

Sent to Sierra Leone, in the region of Kono, for the Red Cross, Melissa Langevin has completed several humanitarian trips throughout her career. She speaks on her latest experience that lasted four weeks.
