Mélanie Brûlée: Australia in My Life

It is true that travel shapes youth, but Mélanie Brûlée believes that it also shapes talent. It was in Australia that she found and cultivated her gypsy-chic style.

The Cornwall singer-songwriter is putting out a new album, Débridée, a mixture of rock and folk featuring collaborations with Anique Granger, Daniel Peloquin-Hopfner, Charles Tilden and Faye Blais. There is also a cover of the Vanessa Paradis classic Marylin et John.
After writing music for the theatre, including the play Mister Baxter, in Toronto, Mélanie Brûlée continues to travel, looking to learn and to be inspired.
