Themes That Poetry Needs to Drop

Poetry evolves, and the themes that move it too. Franco-Ontarian poet and writer Tina Charlebois lists the 5 poetry topics that need to go away.

From the early years of her childhood, Tina Charlebois has drawn her literary inspiration from reality. Daily life is her muse, alongside her Francophone minority identity.

A teacher in Cornwall, Ontario, she loves to make people think through her writing, whether in short stories or poetry. Tina Charlebois won the Trillium Prize in poetry and the Le Droit Literary Award, in 2007.
