Shad : Remember to Remember

Rapper Shad released his fourth album, “Flying Colours”, in the fall of 2013, on which the artist celebrates differences, family and trailblazers. In this clip, he performs “Remember to Remember”.

“Yeah, I forget so often, God, no wonder I feel lost/When I forget where I came from/Or how I got past. Now we ain’t young/Can’t play dumb. The fun and games is done/Man, it’s a strange one/Reverend what you say, Run/Walk this Way…” Born in Kenya, Shadrach Kabango ?his real name? grew up in London, Ontario, which is also where he started his music career. His album, “Flying Colours”, is a resounding success, but it was his second album, “The Old Prince”, that made him famous. The record earned him several Juno nominations and he won Rap Album of the Year in 2011, for TSOL. In March 2015, the rapper became the new host of one of the CBC’s radio shows. BRBR presents “Remember to Remember”.
