Je dois me cacher. Oh!
(LOUIS se cache derrière le porte-manteau LEXIE entre d'un pas feutré et dépose une avion en papier sur la table basse. Elle aussi est déguisée en détective privé.)
[LOUIS:] Oh!
Elle ne m'a pas vu!
Hi! Hi! Hi! Hum.
(LOUIS prend l'avion de papier et la déchiffonne.)
LOUIS
Oh, c'est ma mission!
Ahem! "Louis, est-ce
que le porte-manteau est
plus haut que la table?"
Je dois donc mesurer
le porte-manteau et la table.
Ah! Le porte-manteau
et la table.
Flûte de flûte!
Je n'ai rien pour mesurer
les objets. Qu'est-ce
que je pourrais bien utiliser?
Hum...
Ah, peut-être que j'ai quelque
chose dans mes poches. Oh!
Oh! J'ai trouvé! Je vais mesurer
mes objets avec ma flûte à bec.
(Il prend sa flûte et la met bout à bout sur la hauteur du porte-manteau en comptant chaque mesure de flûte.)
LOUIS
Ah, hum...
Un, deux, trois,
quatre, cinq! Ah,
le porte-manteau mesure
cinq flûtes à bec. Hum!
La table.
(Il prend sa flûte et la met bout à bout sur la hauteur de la table en comptant chaque mesure de flûte.)
LOUIS
La table mesure seulement
une flûte à bec. Hum.
Cinq, une. Le porte-manteau
est donc beaucoup plus haut
que la table. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Hourra!
(Il joue de la flûte!)
